The CHA Designation Program is modeled after many online courses offered at Ivy League institutions. The CHA Designation is a self-study program and the exam is administered online. The online exam must be completed in 2 hours, more than sufficient for those who have read the materials. We offer a challenging program while providing necessary learning tools to help ensure participants are successful.

Besides the obvious benefits of gained knowledge, industry recognition, and better career choices, we provide additional resources for all CHA Designation participants. This includes a Hedge Fund Jobs Guide, Directory of Hedge Fund Employers, Free Resume Tips & Advice and Hedge Fund Job Alerts.

As of November 1, 2008 the Board of Advisors was comprised of:

The CHA Designation is a two level certification program:

• CHA Level 1: Level 1 of the CHA Program provides participants with a broad base of hedge fund knowledge spanning 6 learning modules. For additional details on the CHA Level 1 Examination please click here.

CHA Level 2: Level 2 of the CHA Program trains participants for specific roles within the hedge fund industry. Level 2 of the designation allows individuals to choose an area of focus such as due diligence, analytics or marketing, sales and investor relations. The CHA Designation is sponsored by the Hedge Fund Group (HFG), an industry networking association with global membership of over 15,000 individuals. This hedge fund certification program is not only designed for hedge fund professionals but also designed by hedge fund professionals.
